Mrs. Myrtle Carroll Wright, age 104, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2024, she was born January 5, 1920 to  James and Hattie Carroll.

She was a devoted Christian and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Panama City, FL. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, traveling, watching baseball and being with family. She was a graduate of Walton County High School class of 1940.

Mrs. Wright is preceded in death by her parents, James and Hattie Carroll, her brothers,  Dallas, Lloyd, Dearon and Bill; and sisters, Millie and Mallie.

Mrs. Wright is survived by her sister,  Peggy Mize and brother, Doug Carroll, children, Bobbie Mixon-Jerry, Betty Slack-Warren and Raymond Wright-Sandra; grandchildren,  Toni Mixon, Robin Hubier-Kevin, Richard Slack-Melinda, Nancy Meyer-Keith, Kim Stahl-Tim, Tina Atchley-Tommy and Anthony Wright, several great and great-great grand-children, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation will be held from  9:00 -10:00 AM,  Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; with Reverend Jim Hankins officiating.

Flowers are being accepted.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Hubier, Richard Slack, Tommy Atchley, Zach Ruppert, Donnie Mize, Britt Hubier, Keith Meyer and Errol Perez.

Burial will be held at Limestone Cemetery.
