Mr. Morris Nolan Floyd, age 83, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023. He was born on February 24, 1940 in the Valley View Community in Walton County, Florida to Buddy and Recy McHenry Floyd.

Mr. Floyd was a lifelong resident of the Valley View Community in Walton County, Florida. He graduated from Walton High School in 1958. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather. He worked in the poultry industry for over 56 years before retiring. He owned and operated Morris and Fran's Country Store for 21 years in the Valley View Community. He enjoyed traveling to the mountains, going to car shows, and especially spending time with his grandchildren.

Mr. Floyd was preceded in death by his father and mother; and brother Alton Floyd.

Mr. Floyd is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Frances Floyd of the Valley View Community; three children Hank Floyd and wife Donna of the Valley View Community, Alex Floyd and wife Donna of the Valley View Community, Nikki Lawniczak and husband Chet of DeFuniak Springs; six grandchildren Kelley Slaughter and husband Roger, Nicole Floyd, Zachery Floyd, Derek Floyd and wife Lacey, Kayli Steele and husband Chris, Tyler Lawniczak and wife Chloe; ten great-grandchildren Dylan, Cierra, Brionna, Rollin, Nolan, Kinlee, Buddy, Casen, Audrey, Silas; one great-great-grandchild Kinsley; one sister Lillie Abbott and husband Chris; and one special nephew Tracy Chamberlain and wife D'ette, beloved niece Rene Youell and husband Steve, and nephew Sean Chamberlain and wife Melissa .

A time of visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Joel Glenn officiating.

Pallbearers will be Flop Owens, Bubba Owens, Kenny Owens, Mark Rushing, Mitch Burke, and Luke Cotton.

Flowers are being accepted.

Burial will follow in Morris and Fran's Family Cemetery; 10178 183 South, Ponce de Leon, Florida 32455.
