Mrs. Minnie Willene Cawthon, age 73, passed away Monday, April 17, 2023. She was born on November 6, 1949 in Ponce de Leon, Florida to William Walker Currington and Burlie Mae Rushing Currington.

Mrs. Cawthon was predeceased by her father and mother; her husband of fifty-one years, George Donald Cawthon; three brothers, Junior Currington, Alvie Currington, and Rod Roy Currington; two sisters, Argie Lee Griswald and Marjorie Ann Currington; one grandson, Lathan Riley; and one great-grandson, Luis Cirino III.

Mrs. Cawthon is survived by her sons, Donald E. Cawthon and fiancé Melissa Hyatt of Ponce de Leon, Florida, and Donnie F. Cawthon of Niceville, Florida; Florida; her daughter-in-law Christina of Panama City, Florida; three grandchildren, Sierra Lee Cawthon, Donald Walker Cawthon, and Maddie Cawthon; three great-grandchildren, Ane'Lee Circino, Tyler Ray Cawthon, and Elizabeth Minnie Cook; her brother Charles Walker Currington; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435.

Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 PM, Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Craig Miller officiating.
