Mrs.  Michelle M. Walker, age 65, passed away Friday,  December 30, 2022.  She was  born June 13, 1957 in Savannah, Georgia to Jack and Phyllis Samis McAlister.

Mrs. Walker was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and grandmother. She worked as a receptionist at Aidmore Animal Clinic for 14 years . She enjoyed horseback riding, camping, going to dog shows and she also was a dog breeder, having bred a Champion Bernese Mountain Dog.

Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis McAliser, her brother, Jim McAlister, and grandson, Ethan Ward.

Mrs. Walker is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Richard A. Walker of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; daughter, Jessica Marie Walker; two grandsons, Kyle Ward and Jacob Ward and one brother, Bruce McAlister and wife Patty.

Celebration of life will be held at a later date, at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida.
