Ms. Michele Ann Howard , 58, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2026. She was born on September 8, 1968 to Billy and Evelyn Gentry Michael.

Ms. Howard was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. She was Christian by faith. She graduated from Avongrove High School in 1985 in West Grove, Pennsylvania. She also received her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development from Okaloosa Walton Community College. She worked for Head Start for 18 years. She enjoyed reading her Bible and gardening. She enjoyed listening to Brandon Lake and loved all gospel music.

Ms. Howard was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wayne Howard; two brothers, Billy Michael, Jr, and Richard Michael; two grandsons, Kolton Zeillemaker and Duncan Zeillemaker.

Ms. Howard is survived by her children, Jessica D. Sydenstricker (Bunny), Rebecca Zeillemaker (Dustin), James Sydenstricker, and Jesse Wayne Howard (Katie), grandchildren, Brooklyn, Evan, Oliver, Everett, Olin and Ellie; sister, Diane Tuggle and fur grandbaby “Tilly”.

Celebration of Life will be held at 2:30 PM, Sunday, October 4, 2026, at New Harmony Baptist Church ; 2281 County Road 2, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433.
