Michael Edward
Robinson
July 17, 1958 – September 4, 2023
Michael Edward Robinson born July 17, 1958, Adrian, Michigan died September 4, 2023 in Freeport, Florida. He passed away fighting Small Cell Lung Cancer. Mike loved the outdoors, his cat named Dog, and his family. He made his peace with those who he could forgive. Mike left the rest to God to take care of 'coz he was just that way.
Mike worked for many years on boats in Louisiana as a deck hand shrimping or tugboat. He also worked many years in construction using his skills as a handyman. Mike loved to fish, he taught many how to hold a pole and to bait their own hook. Mike made do with what God had given him to use. If he couldn't do it… he could Tell you how! He loved his place he called home and was very proud of it. Mike and his best buddy Mr. Ray did a lot of work to improve it. They were in the middle of fixing up Mr. Ray's place when Mike got sick. Our sister Vanessa played a major role in bringing Mike back into our lives. Love, forgiveness, and compassion go so much further than hate, control, and resentment. Mike will be missed by so many. He was a unique person with a quick temper, funny soul, and a happy heart.
Mike is survived by his four children; Kenneth Derossett, Jessielee Robinson, Maegan Robinson and Amy Buggs; grandchildren; Joshua Derossett, Joseph Derossett, Jacob Derossett, Riley Mann, Corbin Buggs, Paisley Buggs and Bran Buggs; great grandchildren; Olivia and Autumn Derossett.
