Mr. Michael Emory Greene, age 69, passed away Friday, January 14, 2022. He was born on June 25, 1952 in Gainesville, Florida to Harvey Emory Greene and Margory Elizabeth Sweat Greene.

Mr. Greene was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He worked as a Law Enforcement Officer in South Carolina and Daytona Beach, Florida. He also worked as a Correctional Officer at Walton Correctional Institute for eighteen years before retiring. He enjoyed fishing and traveling.

Mr. Greene was preceded in death by his father and mother and his wife, Melissa Greene.

Mr. Greene is survived by his special friend Kathryn Cosson of DeFuniak Springs, Florida and three brothers, Marvin Greene of Valdosta, Georgia, Greg Greene of Virginia, and Bruce Greene of North Carolina.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
