Mr. Michael Raymond Day, Sr., 69, passed away Monday, March 23, 2026. He was born September 29, 1956 at Lock Bourne Air Force Base to Charles and Patsy Jones Day.

Mr. Day married his wife Charlotte Ann Collinsworth on April 24, 1985. Michael enlisted in the Signal Corps United States Army, he helped stand up the 24th Infantry after the colors were returned and moved into secure communications.

Michael's greatest love was his family and spending time with them. He also had a love of fishing and camping and he loved the outdoors.

Mr.  Day was preceded in death by his mother, Patsy Day, brothers, Richard and Charles and sisters, Patricia and Brenda.

Mr. Day is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Charlotte Day, his father, Charles A. Day, sons, William Bailey and Michael Day, Jr. and wife Lindy, daughter, Carol Ann Day Gordon and husband Caleb, granddaughters, Michelle, grandson, Richard, Nathaniel, Noah and William, and special niece Elaine Day, along with other nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation time will be held 10:00-11:00 AM, Friday, March 27, 2026 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, Friday, March 27, 2026 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, with Kenny Reynolds officiating.

Burial will be held at the Bailey Family Cemetery at 765 W. C. Currington Road, Ponce DeLeon, Florida 32455, with Military Honors by the United States Army.
