Ms. Melba Evon Avery, age 69, passed away November 27, 2024. She was born on October 21, 1955 to Claude Jackson McIntosh and Jesse Gwendolyn Davis McIntosh.

Ms. Avery was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, great aunt, great grandmother, and great great aunt. She was a hard worker with numerous skills gained in her lifetime. She loved her family, her dogs, the beach, and her Jeep.

Ms. Avery is preceded in death by her mother and father, sister Helen Jane McIntosh and brother Charles Ted McIntosh.

Ms. Avery is survived by her son, Chris McIntosh, special nephews Tony (Michelle) Tancredi, Jonathan Tancredi, great nieces Christina (Jason) Hunt, Amber Tancredi, and great nieces and nephews, Liberty Hunt, Amelia Hunt, Marcus Hunt, Riley Bangs and Axel Wright.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 8, 2024 at Niceville Church of Christ; 801 E John Sims Pkwy, Niceville, FL 32578.
