McKenzie Ann Clark Spence, age 6, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2022. She was born September 11, 2015 in Pensacola, Florida to Thomas Spence and Sherry Clark.
McKenzie was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. She was baptized at St. Agatha's Episcopal Church. She was a very loving little girl who loved to sing and dance, and she also loved arts and crafts. She enjoyed sharing with others and loved everyone. To her everything was "pretty" and "beautiful". She also loved the color pink.
McKenzie is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Michael "Mike" Spence; great grandparents, Reggie and Victoria Spence; maternal grandparents, George and Judy McNitt, paternal great grandparents, Dalton and Ila Nelson; step grandfather, Jeff Starkey; cousin, Adrian Michael Spence, special friend, Brittani Morris.
McKenzie is survived by her father; Thomas R" Tommy" Spence of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; mother, Sherry Clark, paternal grandmother; Charlene Nelson Crew and husband John; maternal grandmother, Edie Clark; maternal grandfather, Chris McNitt; brothers; Jacob Drake and Elijah Clark; Uncles, Reggie Spence and fiancé Tammy Brown, Ricky Spence and wife Natasha, Michael Spence and Cody Crew and wife Angel; Matt McNitt, Aunts, Michele Williams, Ashley McNitt, and Jamie Starkey; cousins; Addison Spence, Lyla Spence, Emanuel Spence, Jeremy Lane Spence, Eliana Grace Spence, Cindy Crew, Dalton Crew, River Crew, Bryar Hurley; special Aunt, Paula Richie and best friend, Rickie Dell Spence.
A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 -11:00 AM, Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Joel Glenn officiating.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Spence, Michael Spence, Cody Crew, and Casey Cook. Honorary pallbearers will be Reggie Spence, Ricky Spence, Joseph Seigler and Odie Morris.
Burial will follow at the Harmony Fellowship Cemetery.
Flowers are being accepted.
