Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Shortridge, age 80, passed away March 2, 2018. She was born on January 26, 1938 in Louisa, Kentucky to Herbert LeMaster and Blanche Mable Vaughn LeMaster. Mrs. Shortridge was a resident of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. She was Methodist by faith. She graduated from Louisa High School in Louisa, Kentucky. She also received her Bachelor's Degree from Western Kentucky University. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a very successful realtor for many years, and she was also a very talented seamstress. Mrs. Shortridge is preceded in death by her father and mother, as well as her loving husband of 58 years, David Richard Shortridge I; five sisters, Ellen Miller, Elsie LeMaster, Hester Foreman, Ruth Williams, and one infant sister; and three brothers, Rex LeMaster, Herbert LeMaster, and Charlie LeMaster. Mrs. Shortridge is survived by one son, David Richard Shortridge II and wife Midori of Covina, California; one daughter, Penelope S. Evans and husband David of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida; one brother, William LeMaster of Kentucky; two sisters, Telia Stinnett of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, and Joyce LeMaster of Kentucky; and five grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Kentucky.
