Mrs. Mary E. Hall, age 93, passed away Friday, July 1, 2022. She was born May 9, 1929 in Kinston, Alabama to John and Essie Hall Adams.
Mrs. Hall was a lifelong resident of Walton County. She was Baptist by faith. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She enjoyed quilting with all of her friends. She worked hard, gardening for her family, canning vegetables, and helping others in the community. She was a very talented cook, especially making potato salad.
Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 67 years, Andrew Clayton Hall, brothers, Mathis Adams, Jessie Adams, Franklin Adams, Charlie Adams, Joel Adams, Chester Adams, Clifton Adams; sisters, Juanita Coone and Nellie Cooper, daughter-in-law, Deborah Hall; granddaughter Dori Ann Neale.
Mrs. Hall is survived by her two sons; Clifton Hall and wife Monique of Laurel Hill and Charles Hall of Paxton, Florida; one daughter; Ann Hall and husband James Cecil of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; grandchildren; Jody Hall, Luke Hall, Clay Hall, Brad Hall, Jana Currid and husband Phil, Cindy Neale and husband Rob, Candy Bodie, and Jamie Hall and wife Heather; great grandchildren, Billie Hall, Ashlyn Hall, Alyssa Hall, MaKena Hall, Chelsea Currid, Trey Currid, Seth Neale and wife Katie, A.J. Neale and wife Jessie, Bethany Nall and husband Tyler, Morgan Forehand and husband Zack, Dalton Bodie and wife Cassidy, Garrett Bodie, Meredith Price and husband Hunter, Adam Hall and Will Hall; great great grandchildren, Hazel, Rose and Sage Neale, Clayton and Wade Neale, Jace Nall and Shepherd Forehand.
A time of visitation will be held 9:00 – 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435. Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Todd Camp and Joel Glenn officiating.
Burial will follow in the New Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. Flowers are being accepted.
