Mrs. Mary Faye DeShazo Jenkins, age 73, passed away Friday, July 24, 2015. She was born June 7, 1942 in Slocomb, Alabama to Christopher and Anna Culverhouse DeShazo. Mrs. Jenkins was a resident of Walton County. She owned and operated the Sears Store in DeFuniak Springs with her husband Lindon Jenkins. She also worked in Real Estate and retired from the Rollins Corporation having worked in Administration. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family at the beach. Mrs. Jenkins is preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 35 years Lindon Jenkins. Ms. Jenkins is survived by her son Michael Vann Jenkins and wife Terri of DeFuniak Springs, daughter Terri Lynn Alexander and husband Sam of Newnan, Georgia, brother Rex DeShazo of Bonifay, Florida. Three grandchildren Emily West and husband Robert, Jared Jenkins and Brad Jenkins, also survived by three great grandchildren Jackson, Josh and Jordyn. Visitation services will be held 9:00~10:00 AM, Monday, July 27, 2015 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, July 27, 2015 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend John Erthein officiating. Pallbearers will be Jared Jenkins, Brad Jenkins, Jackson West, Rob West, Joseph Alexander and Sam Alexander. Graveside will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, July 27, 2015 at the Meadow Lawn Memorial Garden Cemetery; 6121 HWY 27 South, Enterprise, Alabama 36336. Floral arrangements are being accepted.
