Mrs. Madeleen Margie Alford, age 65, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022. She was born December 27, 1956 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to Woodrow and Mary Rowland Godwin.

Mrs. Alford was a resident of Walton County, Florida. She was Baptist by faith. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed being outdoors and gardening.

Mrs. Alford is preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Hazel Godwin.

Mrs. Alford is survived by her sons, Michael Cotton and Paul Cotton and wife Anna Cotton; brother; Billy Joe Godwin, Sr.; sisters, Katie Barto and Janie Foltmann; and grandchildren, Travis Cotton, Adalee Cotton, Sebastin Cotton and Giles Cotton.

A time of visitation will be held from 1:00 - 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Crowder Chapel Church.

Burial will follow at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Crowder Chapel Cemetery.
