Mrs. Luverne Richardson, age 86, passed away February 9, 2025.  She was born on June 5, 1938 in Red Bay, Florida to Jesse Gomillion and Charlotte (Lottie) Elizabeth Infinger Gomillion.

Mrs. Richardson was a life long resident of Walton County, Florida. She was Presbyterian by faith and a member of Euchee Valley Presbyterian Church. She worked as the store manager of the Factory Connection Clothing Store for many years. She enjoyed fishing, working in the yard and especially spending time with family.

Mrs. Richardson was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 42 years, Elwood Duane Richardson and siblings, Willie Gomillion, Gladys Odom, Lula Belle Campbell, Ethelene Infinger, Irma Jean Hall, Gene Gomillion and Harold Gomillion.

Mrs. Richardson is survived by her children, Steven Richardson and his wife Carol of DeFuniak Springs, Florida and James (Jimmy) Richardson of Washington County; grandchildren, Robert Wesley Richardson, Devin Shea Richardson and her husband Carl Douglass, Destiny Brase and her husband Jason, Colby Richardson and Gauge Richardson; one great grandchild, Cameron Richardson and one sister, Mavis Overstreet of Jackson, Alabama.

A time of visitation will be held from 9:00 - 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Euchee Valley Presbyterian Church; 5551 Co Hwy 183 S, DeFuniak Springs, Florida

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Euchee Valley Presbyterian Church with Reverend Richard Murray and Reverend Joel Glenn officiating.

Flowers are being accepted.

Burial will be held at Euchee Valley Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
