Ms. Lovie Lucille Stricklin, age 93, passed away December 19, 2025. She was born on February 1, 1932 in Geneva County, Alabama to Joseph Cotton and Callie Faulk Cotton.

Ms. Stricklin was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida She was Methodist by faith. She worked as a care giver for many years. She was a talented song writer.

Ms. Stricklin was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Cotton and Callie Faulk Cotton; her husband, James Stricklin; daughter, Elaine Lacasse; brothers, Robert Pippin and Louie Cotton and sisters, Hazel Howell and Rebecca Harrison.

A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, January 2, 2026 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, January 2, 2026 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home.

Flowers are being accepted.

Burial will be held at Magnolia Cemetery in the Cotton family plot.
