In Loving Memory of Kirk Cecale

Kirk Cecale, age 61, of Livonia, Michigan, passed away on February 18th 2026, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, devotion to family, and a lifetime of memories filled with laughter.

Kirk was a man who believed in showing up — for his job, for his family, for his country and for the people he cared about. A dedicated and hardworking man, he was on the doorstep of retirement, having earned it through years of commitment, perseverance and service to his country. He took pride in providing for his loved ones and never shied away from responsibility.

As a father to his two sons, Kirk led by example and loved them to the bone. He taught them the value of hard work, loyalty, and standing by your word. Whether through quiet guidance, shared experiences, or simply being there when it mattered most, he shaped their lives in lasting ways. His pride in his sons was constant and unwavering, and the lessons he passed on will continue to guide them in the years ahead.

Family was at the center of Kirk's life. He was a proud brother to his three brothers and  sister, and he valued those lifelong bonds deeply. Time spent together — whether during holidays, ordinary weekends, or family gatherings — meant everything to him. He was a steady presence, someone his family could rely on, and someone who cared deeply even when he didn't always put it into words.

Kirk also enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He loved spending time shooting at the range, walking his dog, and settling in to watch college football — especially when his beloved Michigan Wolverines were playing. Fall Saturdays were reserved for cheering on Michigan, analyzing every play, and standing firmly by his team through every season.

Those who knew Kirk will remember him as a man who loved deeply, worked hard, and valued time with the people who mattered most. He carried himself with quiet strength and loyalty, and his presence brought comfort to those around him.

He is survived by his 2 sons Aric and Christopher Cecale and his brothers Randy and Tony Cecale. He was preceded in death by his mother Katherine, his father Frederick, his sister Sandy and his brother Steve.
