Ms. Kimberly Ann Dier, age 76, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. She was born August 22, 1949, in New London, Connecticut, to Elmer Edward Comstock and Phyllis Ann Comstock.

Ms. Dier was a lifelong resident of Freeport, Florida. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was known as Grammy to her family and those who knew her best or had her as a teacher or coach. She worked as a paraprofessional at the Freeport Middle School for 27 years and also served as a cheer coach. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Kim lived a life filled with love, laughter, faith, and an open heart for others.

Ms. Dier was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Phyllis Comstock; her husband, Peter Dier; her brother, Thomas Comstock; and her sister, Phyllis Meyer.

Ms. Dier is survived by her son, Christopher Scott Dier; grandchildren Melodiann Nikole Barley-Dier and Kathryn Brooke Barley-Dier; her great-grandchild, Atreus Henry Ma’lique Barrow; several nieces and nephews; as well as extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 20, 2026, at the Freeport Community Center; 112 Highway 20 West, Freeport, Florida 32439.
