Mr. Kenneth White Reynolds, Jr., age 80, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024. He was born August 31, 1943 in Hartford, Connecticut to Kenneth Reynolds, Sr and Dorothy Burgess Reynolds.
Mr. Reynolds was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He was Baptist by faith and a member of Woodlawn First Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the Vietnam Era, serving his country in the United State Marine Corps. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He worked as Vice President for Miller Oil Company, which later became Reynolds Oil Company that he owned and operated. He also worked driving dump trucks and also as a school bus driver. He was an avid model train collector, and he also enjoyed gardening. He also was an avid NASCAR fan and drag race fan, having driven his own drag race car. He taught Sunday school for 20 plus years. He loved fishing, camping and spending time with family.
Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Reynolds is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Brenda Pauline Reynolds; his children, April Reynolds Kuhl and husband Roy and Kenneth Reynolds, III and wife Heather all of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; grandchildren, Josh Clenney, Will Kuhl and wife Shannon, Alexis Reynolds Eyler and husband Adam, Hannah Reynolds and Kenneth Reynolds, IV; brother, Alan Smith and wife Linda of St. Cloud, Florida, great grandchildren, Mae, Mar, Max, Mav, Rowan and Olivia.
A time of visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 29, 2024 at Woodlawn First Baptist Church; 95 Cedar Drive, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435, with Reverend David Lain officiating.
Flowers are being accepted or donations may be made to Argyle Fire Department at 67 Fire Departments Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.
Burial will be held at Woodlawn First Baptist Church Cemetery, with military honors by the United States Marine Corps.
