Ms. Kathy Smith Villareal, age 76, passed away Monday, October 19, 2026. She was born December 23, 1949 in Center Hill, Florida to Montrea and Iona Whitman Smith.

Ms. Villareal was a resident of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida She was Presbyterian by faith. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was one of the founders of Stucco John, INC. along with her husband John Villareal. She was a very accomplished gardener. She also owned several businesses including flowers shops, Stucco supply Company, catering business as well as an Ice House. She also enjoyed riding her bicycle in her neighborhood.

Ms. Villareal was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 38 years, John Villareal and her brother, Monty Smith.

Ms. Villareal is survived by her son, Tim Villareal and wife Denise; grandchildren, Amanda McWaters and husband Derek, Jeremy Villareal, Alivia Villareal and fiancé Marcus Pearce, and Karen Villareal; great grandchildren, Alaina, Jack and Parks; brother, Kenny Smith and also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM, Sunday, October 25, 2026 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home; 150 East Highway 20, Freeport, Florida 32439. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, October 26, 2026 at Freeport Presbyterian Church at 340 Highway 20, Freeport, Florida 32439, with Reverend Leonard Griffin officiating.

Flowers are being accepted.

Burial will be held at Historic Gulf Cemetery at 393, South County Highway, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida 32459.
