Mr. Justin Covis Rushing, age 43, passed away Friday, January 9, 2026. He was born August 17, 1982
in Geneva, Alabama to Thomas Rushing and Diane Ross Hare.

Mr. Rushing was a resident of Bonifay, Florida. He was Church of God by faith. He was a devoted
son and father to his children. He was a very talented Automotive Painter for over 20 years. He was an
avid Florida Gator Fan. He loved classic cars and country music. He especially loved his family.

Mr. Rushing is preceded in death by his son, Edric Rushing, Maternal grandfather, Reverend Donald
Ross, paternal grandmother, Lavern Rushing, and step-brother, Brad Burns.

Mr. Rushing is survived by his parents, Thomas Rushing and step-mother Kathy Rushing and mother
Diane Ross Hare and step-father Reverend Troy Hare; his children, Jaden Rushing, Jocalin Rushing,
Jaycee Rushing and Jordan Rushing; one grandbaby on the way, Magnolia Rushing, three step-
children, Zamarion Bonds, Abigail Hayes and Liam Hayes, mother of his step-children, Jessica
Rushing, two sisters, Toma Rushing and Samantha Parrish and step-sisters, Cassie Hare, Leah Lamb
and Casey Burns, maternal grandmother, Betty Ross, paternal grandfather, Covis Rushing. Also
survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
