Joe Charles Davies (JC) passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.  He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Wanda Jean Sunderlin Davies, and by his parents Annie Josephine Walling Davies and Charles Davies.

JC is survived by his two children, daughter Renee Davies (Gary) and son Patrick (Tracy) Davies; grandchildren Skylar and Shawn; his sister Margaret (Joe) Lubertine and brother James (Paula) Davies.  JC is also survived by many dear friends from House Divided, where he became a part of their family and found lasting friendships.

JC was an Eagle Scout, earning the Order of the Arrow – Scouting's national honor society – for his exceptional service, character and commitment to the Scout Oath and Law.

After graduating from Biloxi High School in 1969, JC went on to serve his country in the United States Army.  He was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War, where his courage and dedication earned him the Bronze Star Medal – a testament to his bravery and service to his country.

Following his military service, JC built a career marked by hard work and dedication, eventually retiring from Walmart Distribution Center in Laurens, SC.

A graveside service will be held at Alaqua Methodist Church in DeFuniak Springs, FL on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 11 am where he will be laid to rest beside his wife, Wanda.
