Mr. Jimmie Lee Hager Jr., age 59, passed away on July 1, 2026. Born September 9, 1966, in Elyria, Ohio, he was the beloved son of Jimmie Lee Hager Sr. and Mickalenna A. Carver Hager.

A cherished resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, Jimmie was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His passion for NASCAR was well-known, and he cherished his years racing at South Alabama Speedway. Professionally, he made significant contributions as a heavy equipment operator for the Walton County Road Department.

Jimmie was preceded in death by his mother and his sister, Dianne Lloyd.

He leaves behind his father; his children, Alex L. Hager and Hollie Hager Steele (Javier); five beloved grandchildren, Charlotte Hager, Noah Hager, Ryan Hager, Remmington Hager, and Alison Osborne; his brother, Billy Hager; and his sister, Jeanna Lloyd (Dwight).

Jimmie's life was one of dedication to family and community, remembered fondly by all who knew him.
