Mr. Jerry Ralph Darby, age 73, passed away March 11, 2024.  He was born on November 22, 1950 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to James Bartley Darby and Barbara Louise King Darby.

Mr. Darby was a lifelong resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He was a loving father and grandfather. He was a Veteran of the Armed Forces having served his country in the United States Army. He worked as a carpenter for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an avid outdoorsman.

Mr. Darby was preceded in death by his father and mother; brothers Charles Darby and William Darby and one son Alan James Darby.

Mr. Darby is survived by his son Jeff A Darby and wife Lindsey of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; grandchildren Harper Darby, Oliver Darby, Nick Johnson and Gavin Johnson and one sister Janice Floyd of DeFuniak Springs, Florida.

A time of visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM, Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 15, 2024 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; with Reverend Derek Glenn officiating.

Flowers are being accepted.

Burial will be held at Alaqua Methodist Church Cemetery; 4198 Coy Burgess Loop, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.
