Mr. Jasper Marvin Bailey, age 86, passed away January 28, 2024 with his family by his side. He was born August 30, 1937 in Evergreen, Alabama to Fallie and Clara Bailey. Mr. Bailey was a resident of Walton County. He worked in the road paving business for over 40 years. He enjoyed working in his garden and many others gardens as well. He loved fishing, hunting and making cane syrup.  He was known for being able to fix anything, "If he couldn't fix it, it wasn't broke". His greatest happiness was spending time with friends and family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mr. Bailey was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers James Bailey, Buford Bailey, Willie J. Bailey, Richard Bailey and Ammie Lee Bailey; Four sisters Ruby Jean Heck, Frances Smith, Myrtle Day and Cleonia Howze; His loving wife of 58 years Mary Magdalene (Mag) Bearden Bailey.

Mr. Bailey is survived by one son Jasper Bailey and wife Beth of Crestview, two daughters Teresa Burnham and husband William of Ponce de Leon, Mary Arlene Revis and husband Jeff of Weeki Wachee; one brother Junior Lee Bailey and wife Pinky of Ponce de Leon, two sisters Mary Lois Sowell and husband Lavon of West Bay, Lucy Mae Wood and husband Talmadge of Darlington; nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews; and a very special sister-in-law and brother-in-law Shirley and Rheams Scott.

A time of visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Euchee Valley Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rheams Scott officiating.

Pallbearers will be Justin Bailey, Dylan Northey, Bailey Revis, Michael Burnham, Rick Burnham and Jasper Bailey. Floral arrangements are being accepted.
