Mr. Jason Scott West, age 45, passed away January 14, 2024.  He was born on September 8, 1978 in Bonifay, Florida to Tommy Houston West and Lois Henderson West. Mr. West was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida moving from Bonifay, Florida. He was Baptist by faith and a member of Southwide Baptist Church. He was a devoted husband, father and son. He was a Correctional Officer with the Geo Group Incorporated. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with family and working. Mr. West was preceded in death by his mother Lois West, paternal grandparents, Clyde and Mildred West, infant brother Justin, maternal grandpa, Henderson and maternal grandmother, Teresa Jones. Mr. West is survived by his father Tommy Houston West of Bonifay, Florida, wife of 15 years Elisabeth West of DeFuniak Springs Florida, children Hailey, Landon and Corbin West, sister Teresa Viers and husband Johnny of Bonifay, Florida, brother John Judah of Bonifay, Florida, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held at 5:00 PM, Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Southwide Baptist Church, 1307 Coy Burgess Loop, DeFuniak Springs, Florida with Reverend Jeremy Lewis officiating.
