Jason Ryan
Sperry
July 10, 1980 – October 11, 2022
Jason Ryan Sperry, beloved husband, father, and son passed very unexpectedly and was welcomed into the arms of our Lord on Oct. 11, 2022. Jason was born July 10, 1980 in FWB, FL to Jeff and Mary (Stefanick) Sperry. Jason is survived by his loving wife, Rosie (Lowe) Sperry and children; Abigail "Abby", twins Sophie and Evan, and Amelia, his parents; brothers, Bryan Sperry, and Joseph "Joey" Sperry, Sister in laws; Amber (Robert Naumowicz), Erin (Dan Coler) nieces; Victoria Rose and Vivian Leigh Coler, Charlotte Quinn Naumowicz, Sarah Sperry, Leighla L. Sperry-Decker, Jayden Audrey Sperry, Nephews; Trevor Eli Naumowicz, Colton Brady Naumowicz, Robert John Naumowicz, and Zachary Ryan Naumowicz, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Carol Lowe, grandparents; John and Laura (Oswald) Stefanick and Rhuel and Audrey (Leaper) Sperry, cousin, Tiffany (Holloway) Smith; these uncle's, David Stefanick, William "Bill" Holloway, Jay Sperry, and Cliff Kelley.
Jason grew up around Niceville and Villa Tasso and was a graduate of Freeport High, where he forged many friendships and memories. Jason was employed with Poolkeepers. He was working towards a degree and had planned in the spring to go back to Northwest Florida State College.
Jason and Rosie shared 18 wonderful, devoted years together where he told Rosie every day how beautiful she was! It was evident that Jason's greatest love was his wife and children. Jason took great pride in all his children and showered them with his love and attention, especially doting on their youngest. Jason definitely was a sensitive soul. This was very evident at family and holiday gatherings how he loved being with his extended family as well.
Jason had an imposing stature and at 6'7" you would never know he was actually just a big teddy bear. However, his physical size paled in comparison to the size of his heart, and his love of things he enjoyed in life. Jason was a sports enthusiast and very passionate about his favorite teams. He loved a great Florida State Seminoles football game as much as he did a rousing Duke basketball game. As both sets of his grandparents hailed from PA., he loved rooting for the Steelers and Washington Redskins right along with them on any given Sunday. He absolutely loved being outdoors. It's hard to imagine he liked anything more than being on a boat fishing with his brothers or riding Seedoo's with them. When not on the water he loved landscaping or any number of outdoor projects.
Jason's absence will be sorrowfully missed by so many, but no more so than his "Beautiful wife and children", and family. Please remember them in prayer.
A Celebration of Life for Jason will be on Friday, Nov. 11, 2022 at 5 p.m. at the Blount house in Freeport, FL.
