Ms. Janie Ramirez, age 47, passed away Monday, July 31, 2023. She was born on July 20, 1976 in Denver, Colorado to Antonio and Amelia Sanchez Ramirez.

Ms. Ramirez was a resident of DeFuniak Springs. Janie had a wonderful sense of humor; some would say it was the best thing about her. She loved her family very dearly and she lived life to the fullest. She was a kindhearted person and was always willing to help her loved ones. She will be missed dearly.

Ms. Ramirez was preceded in death by her father and mother; three brothers Chrispin Ramirez, Simon Ramirez, Pilar Ramirez; and one niece Erica Ramirez.

Ms. Ramirez is survived by her loving fiancé James Richardson; children Dallas Ramirez, Victoriano Mendoza, Rebekah Williams, Jessica Mendoza, Bonita Mendoza, Corey Ramirez, Chance Ramirez, Billie Jane Richardson; grandson Dallas Emiliano Ramirez; brothers Jacob Ramirez, Wenceslado Ramirez (Sylvia), Antonio Ramirez, Jr., Joe Ramirez (Katie); sisters Noelia Simpson (Tim), Amelia Mendoza (Gilberto), Jessica Salazar (Juan); and many nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, Friday, August 11, 2023 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 11, 2023 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel.

Flowers are being accepted.

Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery in DeFuniak Springs, Florida.
