Janice Lee Jones born June 6, 1971, slipped into her eternal home June 21, 2009 at 4:30 PM in the comforts of her home with her family by her side. Janice was the most unselfish person we know, always considering others first. Janice leaves behind her one and only son, Jessie Ray Jones, of the age of seven. Jessie was the wind beneath Janices wings; the reason she got out of bed every morning; the reason she put one foot ahead of the other; the reason she fought with all her might to stay with him as long as possible. He was her world. Janice is also survived by her daddy, David Harold Jones and mom, Alma Lee Wilcox, her fiance Chris Phebus and biological mother, Jackie Lee Workman. Her brothers are James Harold Jones and Gerald Lee Jones. Her sisters are Alice Loraine Tipton and husband Andy; Annibelle Hurley. Sister-in-law Elizabeth Ann Jones. Nieces and nephews: Charlie and Allison Tipton, Ashley and William Hurley, Ryan Rogers, Joshua Jones, James Jones and Joann and great niece, Miley Jackson. Aunts: Easter Wright and husband Al, Peggy Pridgen and husband Matthew, Vera Mae Goodwin, Crady Mae Floyd and husband Chester, Linda Faye Boone and husband Tom, Debbie Jones, Bobby Jean Foster and Martha Whittle. Uncle, James Martin and Alice. Close cousins: John Paul and Eric and Robert Bryan, Jessica and Jasmine Church; Amber Glenn, Michael, Jaden Nichols and Michele Holmes. A time of visitation will be held from 6:00~8:00 PM, Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home; 230 Park Avenue DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 PM, Thursday, June 25, 2009 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home with Reverend Eric Bryan officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Bay Cemetery. Floral arrangements are being accepted. Family request casual attire for all guests.
