Mrs. Jan Stanko, 81, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2025. She was born on November 27, 1943.

Mrs. Stanko was a resident of Santa Rosa Beach for the past 28 years. She was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church. She was a devoted wife, stepmother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a master gardener and a member of the Garden Club. She also volunteered at Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast for over twenty years. She was a supporter of local artists and charitable organizations.

Mrs. Stanko was preceded in death by her father, mother, her loving husband, Joseph M. Stanko, Jr., and her brother Mark Finn.

Mrs. Stanko is survived by her children: Chris Stanko, Karen Golden, grandchildren Stephen Stanko, Christian Stanko and wife Leighanna, Emily (Sister Goretti) Golden, and Sarah Golden, and great-granddaughter Sophia Grace Stanko.

Receiving of Friends will be held from 1:00 - 2:00 PM, Friday, September 12, 2025 at Saint Rita Catholic Church; 22 Saint Rita Ln, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida 32459.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, September 12, 2025 at Saint Rita Catholic Church with Father Peter Jutras  officiating.
