Mr. James William White, age 57, passed away May 19, 2018. He was born on June 22, 1960 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to William Avee White, Sr. and Grace Myrtle Thompson White.

Mr. White was a lifelong resident of Point Washington in Walton County. He was Pentacostal by faith and a member of City Reach Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed spending time at his hunting land in Alabama. Before retiring from the carpentry profession, he built several homes, staircases, and cabinets on Walton county beaches. He enjoyed spending time with his uncle Frank and lifelong friend, Eddie Earl Morgan.

Mr. White was preceded in death by his father, William Avee White, Sr.; one brother, Billy James; and one sister, Gracie W. Fonville.

Mr. White is survived by his mother, Grace M. White of Point Washington, Florida; and his brothers, William "Buddy" Avee White, Jr. and his wife Linda of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, and Michael Ray White of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A time of visitation will be held from 11:30-1:00 PM, Thursday, May 31, 2018 at City Reach Church; 1144 N County Highway 395 Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, May 31, 2018 at City Reach Church with Pastor Mike Bowden officiating.

Those serving as pallbearers will be Chris Jones, Evan Orr, Jason Day, Frank Whooery, Patrick Lovell, and Eddie Earl Morgan.

Flowers are being accepted or memorials to City Reach Church.

Burial will follow in the Point Washington Cemetery.
