Mr. James "Jimmy" Morris Cooper, Jr, age 67, passed away September 23, 2025.  He was born on March 20, 1958 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to James Morris Cooper, Sr and Earline Ward Gavin.

Mr. Cooper was a resident of Freeport, Florida. He was Baptist by faith. He worked as a long-haul Truck Driver and a heavy equipment operator for Azland before retiring. He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles and being around family. He was outspoken and would help anyone in need.

Mr. Cooper was preceded in death by his father, James Morris Cooper, Sr and brother Charles "Billy" Cooper.

Mr. Cooper is survived by his mother Earline Ward Gavin; his sister, Beth Alter (Ron Alter); his children, Breezy Adkinson (Jason), James Cooper, Michael Cooper, and Jeremy Cooper; his grandchildren, Heidi Cooper, Jeremy Cooper, Jr., Jasmine Cooper, Ashland Redmond, Brynnlee Cooper, Maggie Cooper, Cote Melvin, Meagan Adkinson, Madison Alter, Lexi Alter, Gage Alter, Michael Cooper, Jr., Gage Cooper, Shawn Cooper, Jaden Cooper and many other great grandchildren.

Celebration of Life services will be held at a later date.
