Mr. James Preston Honea, age 75, of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida passed away February 8, 2012. He was born September 13, 1936 in Wardell, Missouri to Frank and Inez Honea. Mr. Honea was a resident of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida for the past 16 years before moving from St. Louis, MO. He owned Honea Auto Body Shop and St. Louis Auto Panel in St. Louis, MO. He was a professional Race Car driver for Chrysler. He also loved boating which was a large part of his life. Mr. Honea is preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Honea is survived by his long time partner Hettie (Faye) Gross of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. He was also survived by his 3 children Terry Clemons and Betsy Moran of Florissant, Missouri, Pam Honea of St. Peters, MO and Kristie Weber and husband John of St. Charles Missouri. Mr. Honea had 4 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. Visitation will be held 12:00~6:00 PM, Sunday, February 12, 2012, at the chapel in Baue Funeral Home at 3950 West Clay St., St. Charles, Missouri. Memorialization will be by cremation.
