James "Jim" Fargo, 98, formerly of Vestal, NY, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2025, in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. He was predeceased by Beverly Fargo (Pam's mom) in 1969 and Joan Fargo in 2019.

Jim proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II, participating in Operation Road's End in the Pacific.

Following his military service, Jim embarked on a career with IBM, where he worked for over 37 years.

After retirement, Jim relocated to Florida to escape the winter weather that he despised. That was accentuated by his passing on the last day of Fall, likely to avoid seeing yet another winter.

Jim is survived by his daughter Pamela and her husband Michael Czuhanich; grandchildren Kimberly (Rick) Quest, Christopher Czuhanich , and Alexis (Scott) Zaino; great-grandson Ricky Quest; as well as several nieces and a nephew.

The family would like to thank all his friends and the staff at The Barclay for their kindness. Also, the wonderful hospice personnel with Gentiva Hospice, especially Camille, Krissy and Jordan.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services.
