Obituary

In loving memory of Jack William Simpson.

Jack, 68, was born on August 1, 1958 and passed on April 11, 2026. He was born to Earl Simpson Senior and Lillian Fran Dudley (Simpson, Rich). Jack loved nature and was a typical teenager that bent the rules and tested limits, being a bit of a trouble-maker in his younger years. He attended an all boys school and finished his school years at Niceville High School in FL. He has been in the panhandle for most of his life, and he resided in the Okaloosa/Walton county area. Jack worked for Young and Son for many years, driving a dump truck until he was no longer able.

Jack Simpson’s oasis was Bunny Beach. Family and friends are welcome to stop and visit the river, but remember Jack's saying "come to the river, but leave your problems behind." Another one he would say was "don't mix business with pleasure." The river is always somewhere we can all go to feel his presence through his creative nature and see his jack of all trades style. Jack W Simpson was a kind and respectable man that lived a private, peaceful lifestyle. Jack leaves a avoid in the world with all his loved ones and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Earl Simpson Senior and his mother, Lillian Fran Rich, his brother, Philip Simpson, and his son Clinton Joshua Humphreys. He is survived by his daughter Brittany Kuhl (Humphreys). Two brothers, Earl Simpson JR (Pam), and Mike Simpson, his sister, Ann Simpson Wilson (George) and a nephew, Tyler Millan. Jack will be missed dearly, but I ask that you carry his spirit with you as his memories live within us. He would want us to join together and celebrate his life.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
