Ms. Jacalyn Marie Spillane Skipper, age 69, passed away December 23, 2023.  She was born on August 12,1954 in Flint, Michigan to Jack Henry Spillane and Rosemary Lobdell Spillane.

Ms. Skipper was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. She was Episcopal by faith and a member of Saint Agatha's Episcopal Church in DeFuniak Springs. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She worked as an Engineer Specialist with the Department of Transportation with the State of Florida for 30 years. She loved crafting, scrapbooking and baking. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her great grandchild. She also enjoyed spending time with her dog "Bama."

Ms. Skipper was preceded in death by her father and mother Jack Henry Spillane and Rosemary Lobdell Spillane and one son Miles Dockery.

Ms. Skipper is survived by her children Jeremy Dockery and wife Renee, Carrie Dockery and Chris Sebastian, Ryan Dockery and wife Keturah, Zach Skipper and Kristen Wisler and Shelby Skipper; grandchildren Mehgan Dockery, Aiden Dockery, Jackson Bowers and wife Emily, Julianna Bowers, Parker Dockery and Peyton Skipper; one great grandchild Arizona Bowers and her five brothers and sisters Bob Spillane and wife Kathy, Julie Kulis, Judy Tamez and husband Ralph, Jana Myers and Jody Sawyer and husband John.

Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date at Saint Agatha's Episcopal Church in DeFuniak Springs, Florida; with Bishop Steven Miller officiating.

Interment will follow in the memory garden at Saint Agatha's Episcopal Church.
