Mrs. Ida Mae Henderson, age 99, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022. She was born May 2, 1922 in Winn, Alabama to William and Ida McCloskey Roberts.

Mrs. Henderson was Baptist by faith and a member of the Baldwin Avenue Baptist Church. She worked as an Aircraft Mechanic during WWII. She also worked as a seamstress and a restaurant worker at McLean's Restaurant for several years. She also worked as a teacher at Meadowlake Baptist Church Christian School in Mobile, Alabama.

Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Alto Henderson; sisters, Ruth Anderson, Ruby Madaris and Bobbie McFarland; brothers, James Roberts, Eddie Roberts.

Mrs. Henderson is survived by one son, Thomas Henderson of Panama City, Florida; one grandson, Jason Scott and wife Cami; and one daughter, Shirley Ruth Carroll of Leonia, Florida.

A private Graveside Service will be held at the Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mobile, Alabama.
