Mr. Henry Alvin Dunaway, age 66, passed away November 21, 2022. He was born September 21, 1956 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to James Curtis and Nadine Donaldson Dunaway.

Mr. Dunaway was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He worked as a tankerman in the tug boat industry for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an avid Alabama Football fan, and he loved listening to music.

Mr. Dunaway was preceded in death by his father and mother; his brother Jimmy Dunaway; sister Margaret "Peggy" Moffitt; and one daughter, Theresa McDaniel.

Mr. Dunaway is survived by his wife of 35 years, Mary Dunaway of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; two children, Mark Phillips and Kevin McDaniel; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; his brother Ricky Brassell of Freeport, Florida; and his sister Angie Short of Brooklyn, Alabama.

A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Richard Murray, Sr. officiating.

Flowers are being accepted.

Burial will follow in the Center Ridge United Methodist Church Cemetery.
