With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harold Glen (Jed) Clampitt of Niceville, Florida, born in Las Vegas, Nevada, July 18, 1952, who passed away on April 11, 2023 at the age of 70. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Ann Clampitt; stepchildren, Yvette Sutton and Chad Miller; step grandsons, Adrian Miller and Austin Miller; his sister, Joy Taylor; and nephews, Josh, Lee and Mathew and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eli Harold Clampitt; mother, Marie Williamson Clampitt; and stepson, Sean Miller.

Glen and Charlotte enjoyed fishing, hunting, and finding treasures at flea markets.  Glen also was a very avid reader. Glen worked for DRS until his retirement.

We would like to say thank you to the doctors and the ICU Staff of Sacred Heart Hospital.

Receiving of friends will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home; 150 East Highway 20, Freeport, Florida 32439.

Celebration of Life  Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home with Reverend  Richard Murray, Sr. officiating.
