Mr. Guadalupe Manuel Garza Lopes, age 81, passed away October 25, 2024.  He was born on October 12, 1943 in Roma, Texas.

Mr. Lopes was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He was Catholic by faith. He was a devoted father, grandfather and great grandfather. He had a very good since of humor; he enjoyed playing jokes on others to bring a smile to their face. He was very creative with his humor. He never met a stranger. He also enjoyed breaking and training horses.

Mr. Lopes was preceded in death by his son, Ronnie Lambdin Garza.

Mr. Lopes is survived by his children, Anna Godwin (Billy Godwin) and Joseph Garza (Leanna Moch) both of DeFuniak Springs, Florida and Pete Schindler Garza (Caroline Schindler) of Orlando, Florida; his grandchildren, Brandon Garza of Pensacola, Florida, Krystyna St. Pierre, Kevyn St. Pierre and Blake Godwin all of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, Christian Garza (Lexus Garza) of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Yuri Hollinger, Cole Hollinger and Nathaniel Hollinger all of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, Clarise Quinit of Orlando, Florida and one great grandchild, Asheton Garza of Bonifay, Florida and the mother of his children, Sharon Younger Lambdin Garza Schindler of Bonifay, Florida.

A time of visitation will be held from 1:00 - 2:00 PM, Monday, October 28, 2024 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, October 28, 2024 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; with Reverend Joel Glenn officiating.

Flowers are being accepted.

Pallbearers will be Joseph Garza, Pete Schindler Garza, Blake Godwin, Kevyn St. Pierre, Bobby Godwin and Billy Godwin. Honorary Pallbearers will be Billy Godwin, Sr., Mike Rhodes, Waylon Little and Warren Godwin.

Burial will be held at Crowder Chapel Cemetery.
