Mr. Gerard "Jerry" Larry Kelly, age 65, entered into eternity with Jesus on Saturday, July 4, 2020. He was born May 14, 1955 in San Jose, Costa Rica to Thomas M. Kelly and Nelly Cerdas Kelly. Mr. Kelly was a resident of Freeport, Florida. He was a devout Christian and a member of Destiny Worship Center. He was a veteran of the Vietnam era, serving his country in the United States Air Force as a Sergeant in Para Rescue. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He owned and operated his own construction company, Kelly Design Build, Inc. He was a fifth-generation engineer. He was very mission minded in Latin America, including medical missions and orphanages. Mr. Kelly was preceded in death by his father and mother. Mr. Kelly is survived by his loving wife of forty years, Pam Kelly of Freeport, Florida; two sons, Nate Kelly and wife Kelsey of Freeport, Florida and Jonathan Kelly and wife Shannon of Atlanta, Georgia; three grandchildren, Ridley Kelly, Evelyn Kelly and Robin Kelly; his brother George Kelly and wife Maria of Houston, Texas; and four sisters, Damaris LoCicero and husband Tony of Costa Rica, Lilly Goncalves and husband John of New York, Consuelo Kelly of Houston, Texas, and Star Berry and husband Steve of Houston, Texas. A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Destiny Worship Center; 122 Poinciana Boulevard, Miramar Beach, Florida 32550. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Destiny Worship Center with Pastor Steve Vaggalis and Pastor John Benaquis officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Jerry's favorite mission fund, Impact Ministries International at https://tstamman.churchcenter.com/giving . Burial will follow in Gulf Cemetery.
