Fred Byron Bradshaw, age 76, passed away March 25, 2010. He was born August 29, 1933 in Louisville Kentucky to Charles Elliot Bradshaw and Mary Roberta Rives Bradshaw. Fred received Christ as his Lord and Savior as a young man and was a lifelong Baptist. Fred married June Rosalind Britto on October 20, 1956. He served in the Navy from 1953-1957 aboard the USS Peterson (DE-152). He was a small business owner for many years and worked as a jeweler and watchmaker. Fred loved his family, friends and church. He never met a stranger and always had a joke or cheerful thought for everyone; those who met him loved him. Fred is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, June Bradshaw, three daughters: Beverly Nichols and family of Santa Rosa Beach, Lynn Reding and family of Lynnwood, Washington, Sandra Drury and family of Wheaton, Illinois, one son: Fred Bradshaw Jr of Santa Rosa Beach and one brother, Wistar Woodrow Bradshaw (91) of Bakersfield, California. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation for family and friends will be held 6:00~8:00 PM, Sunday, March 28, 2010 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home, 150 State Highway 20 East, Freeport, FL. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, March 29, 2010 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home, with Dr. Walt Campbell officiating. Graveside services will be held 9:30 AM, Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at the Barrancas National Cemetery, in Pensacola, FL. with Military Funeral Honors.
