Mr. Weimorts, age 92, passed away January 7, 2025.  He was born on February 8, 1932 in Walton County, Florida to Paul Youngblood Weimorts and Lenora McDonald Weimorts.

Mr. Weimorts was a resident of Walton County, Florida. He was Baptist by faith and a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. armed forces, having served in the United States Army. He worked as a bridge inspector for the Department of Transportation for over 30 years before retiring. He loved fishing, bird hunting, gardening and growing flowers. He also enjoyed raising quail.

Mr. Weimorts was preceded in death by, Paul Youngblood Weimorts, father, Lenora McDonald Weimorts, mother, Lula Mable Weimorts, stepmother, brother's Archie Wesley Weimorts, and Harry Weimorts, and sister, Ada Irene Eldridge, brother in laws, Harold Douglass Cassiday and Freddie Eldridge, and sister-in-law, Mary Lee Weimorts.

Mr. Weimorts is survived by two sisters, Juanita Davis of Ponce De Leon, and Pauline Pendarvis of Port St. Joe, Florida, and sister-in-law, Myra Weimorts of White City, Florida and special friends, David and Lottie Johnson. He was a very special uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00PM, Friday, January 10, 2025 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00PM, Friday, January 10, 2025 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; with Reverend Richard Murray Sr. officiating.

Flowers are being accepted.

Pallbearers will be Cary Miller, Bill Cassiday, Clint Crum, and David Johnson.  Burial will be held at New Ponce De Leon Cemetery.
