Mrs. Fannie Laura McCormick Tew, age 77, passed away, May 29, 2022. She was born on October 28, 1944, in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to William Henry and Purle Infinger McCormick.

Mrs. Tew was a long-time resident of Freeport, Florida. She enjoyed fishing, puzzles, gardening and parenting her children, and being a housewife

Mrs. Tew was preceded in death by her parents William Henry and Purle McCormick; four brothers JD McCormick, B.F. Brown, B.J. Brown, and Dallas Brown; and her sister Sadie Hilley and husband Henry Tew.

Mrs. Tew is survived by her children Laura and (Sherry) Cooley, William (Tera) Tew, Connie (Mark) Douglass and Val (Tisha) Tew; one sister Myrtle Qualls and ten grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 –11:00 AM, Friday, June 3, 2022 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home 150 East Highway 20, Freeport, Florida 32439.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, June 3, 2022 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home with Reverend Larry Murphy officiating.
