Mrs. Erin "Sally" Elizabeth Scofield, age 83, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022.  She was born December 5, 1938 in Walton County, Florida to Willie Fred Hunt, Sr. and Marjorie Louise Carr Hunt.

Mrs. Scofield was a lifelong resident of the New Harmony Community. She was Baptist by faith and a member of New Harmony Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She worked as a licensed practical nurse at North Okaloosa Medical Center for 40 years before retiring. She enjoyed reading and working crossword puzzles.

Mrs. Scofield was preceded in death by her father and mother; her husband Foy "Johnny" Scofield; and her siblings, Mildred Hunt, Jack Hunt, and Buddy Hunt.

Mrs. Scofield is survived by her children, Cathy Cheung and husband Kaye of Crestview, Florida, Karen Watkins and husband William of Tallahassee, Florida, and Sandy Scofield of New Harmony, Florida; six grandchildren, Christopher Cheung (Sara), Jonathan Cheung (Alison), Kayla DeMass and husband Jeremy, Jodie Watkins, Sarah Watkins, and Emily Watkins; her sister-in-law Annis Hunt of New Harmony, Florida; her special nieces and nephews, Brenda Hunt, Gary Hunt and wife Martine, and Marsha Hardin and husband Richard; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation will be held from 2:00 – 3:00 PM, Friday, September 16, 2022 at New Harmony Baptist Church; 2281 County Road 2, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, September 16, 2022 at New Harmony Baptist Church   with Reverend Todd Camp officiating.

Flowers are being accepted.

Burial will follow in the New Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.
