Elaine Anne Gower (Albert) was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, to Ava Mae (Messler) and Arnold Albert. After a lengthy battle with cancer, she passed away peacefully on July 21, 2024; just days before her 75th birthday.

Elaine graduated from Hiawatha (Kansas) High School and went on to have a successful career in real estate and as a paralegal in the Kansas City Metropolitan area. She was known for her dedication to her work and her ability to connect with people from all walks of life.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Ava Mae Albert of Falls City, Nebraska. She leaves behind her son, Lonny, and his wife Michelle of Freeport, Florida, as well as her cherished granddaughter, Elizabeth, and her husband, Jack, of Columbia, Missouri.

Elain had a zest for life and passion for traveling, especially cruising. She found joy in adopting retired racing greyhounds, spending time at the beach, and savoring a good glass of wine.

There will be a celebration of life in Kansas City area at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request that contributions be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society.
