Mr. Edward Stevens Teal, age 86, passed away October 1, 2022.  He was born on May 29, 1936 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to Macom Teal and Emily Bell Teal.

Mr. Teal was a resident of Florida, being born and raised in DeFuniak Springs. He was a welder, fabricator and mechanic. He enjoyed restoring model As and did numerous road tours with them. He was a member of numerous car clubs and he retired from the Fleet maintenance. He was honest, kind and helpful with everyone he encountered. He was quiet and softspoken. Mr. Teal was preceded in death by his daughter Rose Teal; father and mother Macom Teal and Emily Bell Teal; his brothers Howard Teal, Barney Teal, Horace Teal, Albert Teal; sister Martha Teal Meadows; son Steve Teal and granddaughter Tonya Trammell.

Mr. Teal is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Alberta Teal, his children Ralph Teal, Sherry Teal McHenry husband Lonnie McHenry, and Crystal Teal Scarbrough and husband Randy Scarbrough; sister-in-law Carolyn Teal; grandchildren Helen Fernon, Crystal Burkhart, Richard Teal, Jarred Nelson, Eric Scarbrough, Travis McHenry, Timmy Scarbrough, Izzy Teal. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, Friday, October 7, 2022 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, October 7, 2022 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Kenneth Harrison officiating.

Flowers are being accepted.

Pallbearers will be Travis McHenry, Timothy Scarbrough, Jarred Nelson, Lonnie McHenry, Jim Cosson and Randy Scarbrough.

Burial will be held at Center Ridge Methodist Church Cemetery.
