Mr. Dillard Ripple Bickerstaff, age 80, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023. He was born February 12, 1943 in Pensacola, Florida to Celeb and Anna Grice Bickerstaff.

Mr. Bickerstaff was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He was a veteran of the Vietnam Era serving his country in the United States Air Force, having received the National Defense Service Medal. He worked as a Ranger at the Boy Scout Camp in DeFuniak Springs, Florida for over 20 years before retiring. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Mr. Bickerstaff was preceded in death by his parents; Celeb Bartow Bickerstaff and Anna Naomi Grice Bickerstaff; and his wife, Rachel Catherine Sanchez Bickerstaff of 56 years.

Mr. Bickerstaff is survived by his children, David Bickerstaff and wife Mary Ann of Pensacola, Florida, Sabra Hataway of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, Daniel Bickerstaff and wife Julie of Pace, Florida, Rachel Jones and husband Rick of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, Teresita Page of Navarre, Florida, Chris Bickerstaff of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, his sisters; Fran Kimmons and Linda Snowden both of Pensacola, Florida; also survived by fifteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Private Celebration of Life Service will be held at East Baptist Church, 910 Bay Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.
