Mr. Dennis Lero Pippin, age 71, passed away October 21, 2022. He was born March 11, 1951 in Graceville, Florida to Jack Lero Pippin and Frances Smith Pippin.

Mr. Pippin was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida for 47 years. He was Baptist by faith and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He retired from CHELCO Electric after 44 years of service, having worked as a Lineman, purchasing agent, and warehouse supervisor. He was a Master Mason for 41 years and a dual member of the Masonic Lodge F&AM #170 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida and Masonic Lodge F&AM #131 Mt. Ewell in Baker, Florida.

Mr. Pippin was preceded in death by his father and mother; brother Larry Pippin; and his sister Barbara Jean Thames.

Mr. Pippin is survived by his wife of 47 years, Louise Pippin of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; son Gregory Pippin and wife Renee of Laurel Hill, Florida; and three grandchildren, Zachary Pippin, Hailey Pippin, and Gabrielle Pippin.

A time of visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Dean Penzo officiating.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Cosson, Stanley Donald, LaRau Jackson, Mike Richards, Randall Griner, and Bruce Cosson.

Flowers are being accepted or donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Church at P.O. Box 603, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.

Burial will follow in the Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church Cemetery in Baker, Florida.
