Mr. David Beaumont Vitulski, age 70, passed away January 24, 2026. He was born on June 7, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois to Joseph Vitulski and Delloras Agnes Sheply Vitulski.
Mr. Vitulski was a resident of DeFuniak springs, Florida. He was enlisted in the United States Navy on February 14, 1974 in Tucson, Arizona. In June of 1974 he was selected for advancement to Third- and Second-Class Chief Petty Officer. In January 1980 he was assigned to organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (OJCS). During his tour with OJCS he was advanced to First Class Petty Officer and later was selected to attend YN"C" school (Flag Writer School). In 1987 he was selected advancement to Senior Chief Petty Officer. In 1994 he was advanced to Master Chief Petty Officer. From May 2003 - June 2004, he served as Command Master Chief, Naval Reserve Center, Tampa. He retired from the United States Navy in June 2004 after completing more than 30 years of honorable and faithful service. During his time serving in the United States Navy, he earned may awards including: Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (with three gold stars), Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (with three gold stars) and numerous unit, service and campaign ribbons and medals. He also worked for the Internal Revenue Service. He loved riding his motorcycle and was very active in the United States Veterans Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed cooking on the grill and spending time with family and friends.
Mr. Vitulski was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Vitulski; mother, Delloras Agnes Sheply Vitulski; his loving wife of 32 years, Philomena Vitulski and his brother, Dennis Vitulski.
Mr. Vitulski is survived by his children, Jeremy Vitulski, Christopher Vitulski and Clair Vitulski; his brother, Dean Vitulski; sisters-in-law, Jean Bowen (Steve) and Theresa Williams; his niece, Jami Weeks (Joey) and nephew, Tyler Risner.
Memorialization will be by cremation.

Burial will be held at 11:30 AM, Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Barrancas National Cemetery NAS Pensacola, for his service to his country in the United States Navy.
